Membership of the CHG is open to all who share our objectives. Joining the CHG is a great way to meet like-minded people, make friends, listen to guest speakers and discuss a range of topics from ethics and philosophy to science and politics.

The membership fee helps us cover expenses for room hire, publicity and local campaigns.

Membership of the CHG gives you entry to all our events, including privately held social and cultural events, and access to our Humanist lending library.

Our annual membership fees (renewable each January) are currently

£ 15   individual member

£ 12.50 concessions (student, unwaged)

A discount of £2.50 applies to all membership fees paid by standing order (= £ 12.50 individual, £ 10 concessionary)

To join, print out the application form (and standing order formif applicable) and contact the Membership Secretary:

Please feel free to drop in to our next public CHG meeting and see for yourself before joining.

Although we hope local humanists will also belong to the BHA, that is not necessary for membership of the CHG.
